The YMCA Building, 107 Wells Road, Totterdown, Bristol, Tel 0117 971 6770 The YWCA provides the following services for women aged 16-25 years old: Free confidential counselling A range of information Group work Outreach counselling/information (for women unable to travel or access the premises in Totterdown) Free child care whilst using the service Drop in time
Drop in counselling sessions are on Mondays from 5.30 to 8.30pm, and on Tuesdays from 1.30 to 4.30pm (As of 17th April 1997- telephone to confirm first) Counselling sessions are free and confidential and are offered by trained and experienced counsellors who work to the British Association for Counselling code of ethics and practise. |

Counselling Service for Young Lesbian or Bisexual Young Women YWCA Bristol Young Women's Centre is offering a free, confidential one to one counselling service for young women between the ages of 14-30 who are lesbian, bi-sexual, or questioning their sexuality. The service provides a safe, non-judgmental place for young women to be themselves and talk about any issues including sexuality. This is a
free and confidential counselling service for people who have suffered
the trauma of sexual abuse. The service is available to adults, who
are offered individual counselling, and to adolescents, who are offered
individual counselling and parent counselling. Family sessions are provided
when it is considered helpful to the adolescent.
