CONFIDENTIALITY


You have the right to expect that information about you is confidential to    Priority Youth Housing's Support team.

All staff are aware of the importance of confidentiality.

  • Anything written in your file will be available for viewing by you.
  • Information about you will only be shared outside of Priority Youth Housing with your permission.
  • Your address will never be disclosed to others without your consent.
  • Information about you will be confidential to the Support Team at   Priority Youth Housing.
  • Your file will be kept in a locked cabinet.
  • Your file will be destroyed after three years.
  • In cases where there serious risk to you or others, staff may be required to break confidentiality.

The need to secure the safety and welfare of a child overrides issues of confidentiality at all times.
